Otherwise, its less than a month's wait til we have the keys and can take pics whenever we want! On the sorta weird side: coworkers of Jordan live right across the street from us. I mean, RIGHT across the street. It would be great if they were coworkers we got along with.

Good News!
So I have been holding this in since Saturday, in hopes that I wouldn't jinx myself by talking about it. And although there is still plenty of time to fall through, we signed the contract today that says: WE ARE BUYING A HOUSE!!!OMG, it is soooo awesome of a house too! It's in a really safe neighborhood, right on the golf course (neither of us likes golf, but whatever), with hardly any grass which is perfect for us right now. It has three bedrooms, two full baths, a fully updated kitchen with stainless steel appliances, TWO screened in porches, and a huge living/dining room. The house is completely awesome. And it will be ours on June 5th. If there are no setbacks, of course. I have to write otherwise I'm afraid I'll explode from stress. Just one more final and I'm done... All I need is a D on this exam and I pass this stupid class. I think I can do that. What a year this has been. I'm a quarter of the way done with college! It really does seem like just yesterday that I was graduating from 8th grade, wondering what high school would be like. Last night I went to the late night breakfast. The food was decent, but then there was a raffle and I won a ladder ball game. Afterwards Lauren and I decided to go outside and play, even though it was dark and kind of cold. We are just ridiculous, but it was so much fun. And we sang songs from Rent and played on the swings and made plans for marrying Daniel Radcliffe. Tomorrow at this time I'll be driving home with my mom. Tonight I'm going to finish my Stagecraft paper, straighten my hair, and finishing packing. I can't even describe how happy I am to be coming home! |

Krav was good today. It wasn't anything anything special, just a good workout.
We made bison burgers and corn on the cob for dinner tonight- it was REALLY yummy.
Still waiting for my Tragic Themes grade-- hopefully Michael will have it in soon, I'd like to know my cumulative GPA for the semester.
This guy in my Krav class is going to make me copies of his Bas Rutten workout cds, apparantly they're only 28 minutes long, but good good workouts. Hopefully I'll be able to use them when we're out of town and I can't go to class (especially in August when we're gone for 2 weeks) |

What can I say, I like these. Here are some more I did with a Sweeney theme... The Breakfast Club covers the five sterotypes that are suppossedly found everywhere. I won't go into the premise or message, because I'm guessing 98% of people have seen this movie. The Brain, The Psycho, The Princess, The Althlete, The Rebel. List your fandoms and then assign these roles. The Brain: Mrs. Lovett. Hey, she's the only one with buiness sense.
The Psycho: Gee, that's a hard one...
The Princess: Johanna, I guess.
The Athlete: Antony, the sailor boy.
The Rebel: Toby. Killing your elders is frowned upon! Pick 5 people from your fandom. Then pick a song that you would likely choose as a ring tone for them if you had them in your cell phone. List the person, the song and artist, and the reason why you chose that song.
Sweeney- "Roland the Headless Thompson Gunner", by Warren Zevon. A song about a headless soldier wreaking bloody revenge- what more could you want?
Mrs. Lovett- "My Baby Shot Me Down", by Nancy Sinatra. Title says it all.

I have not had power since 10:30am. Which was actually while I was still in bed. So I have not had power since I got up (this is different from when I woke up, which was 5am to take Jordan to the airport during the bad, windy, loud thunderstorm). So I cleaned the toilets in the dark today, with a flashlight. That was fun. Now that we have light (and most importantly: bathroom fan) I can clean the cat toilets. And vaccum. And do laundry. Because that all requires electricity that I didn't have. In other news azelmaroark is gone and that makes me sad. In other, other news I should have some good news tomorrow, or weds by the latest. Stay tuned for that.

I got a new Noob! Yay! Only she'll be gone until after I return from Trini. So I started training her and now she'll forget it all while she's in Spain or France or something like that for a month. Also, I had a bit of an explosion the other day. I will assume you have all heard of the Manhattan Project (you know, the original Atom-bomb from WWII?), well I got a piece of it on my FACE. Not a piece of the actual bomb, mind you (that blew up ;P), but a piece of the pipes from the building where it was being made (one of the buildings - there were a few labs that were working on that project). The leachate from the pipe splashed onto my glasses and cheek, and that was probably the nastiest thing that has ever touched my skin. Mind you, I worked in a Kennel for two years. Bleh. I'm all safe though - rinsed and washed and scanned for radioactive stuff. If my face starts acting funny I'll know why :P Doesn't it sound fun to work in a big lab like mine? Only I went home to shower (in case it got in my hair) and I MISSED Ice Cream Day! I was so pissed. And I had to stay late because no one told me I had a quick-turn that had to go in that night. So that sucked. But at least I wasn't in the hospital with a rad/nitric face.

Muay Thai was good. Its a killer workout, and my knees are skinned from incorrectly doing Sprawls. I got to use my new boxing gloves, it felt like punching a pillow, yet my shoulders were getting really tired holding them up by my head like i'm supposed to. Its definately a good workout. Loved it. Probably won't be able to work tomorrow after Krav... but I don't think I could do a krav class, then a Muay Thai class too... Alrighty, I need to shower and go to School for the Departmental Party and the launch of the Green Fuse, and the Mercury. Ok. Off to shower to get clean. And a happy birthday to empressvesica |
